Phases of Blogging

I read the blog Thinking about teaching blogs to your students? posted by J. Black.  My reaction to the blog post is that I am relieved to see that starting a classroom blog is a lengthy process.  I am now in phase 1 because I have begun to look at other educators' blogs.  The next part of my process is to start posting on teachers' blogs.  I have not begun to think about how I can convince my principal that blogging would be a good addition to the curriculum.  I liked reading the list posted on the blog.  When I am finally ready to move on to later phases of the blogging process, I will have to use plenty of online videos and demos for my 2nd graders.
